some netv® history

netv® got start in Hollywood just prior to the 90's Internet craze and of the burgeoning world of online media production, taking on educational initiatives and spearheading international community building projects.  From global relief efforts to locally-focused economic development, the company was built upon a commitment to enhancing relationships through new media technologies.

From the outset, partnering with such organizations as the Global SchoolNet, the netv® vision encompassed a next-generation media platform where people of all social, economic and cultural backgrounds could come together in dynamic video collaboration to make good things happen around the world.  That vision is still alive today.

Through active participation in local community building efforts, netv® has a long history of supporting and joining together with major international and Los Angeles-based community and business organizations, such as the Chambers of Commerce of Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Century City and other Los Angeles area Chambers and business groups.

In the early 2000's, netv® was actively taking on international community building projects, such as those between Beverly Hills and Japan and France, and in 2002 received the Beverly Hills Global International Business of the Year award by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, along with Official Commendation for public service from the California State Senate.

With a continued focus on global issues, community-building and local economic development, netv®
is relaunching with an expanded vision for health-care initiatives, along with social & economic empowerment, and domestic and international educational efforts, taking advantage of new technologies in innovative ways that enhance lives and transform communities.

The hope for the new netv® 2.0 is to be refreshed with that same pioneering spirit and make a positive impact in the world.

Our new big picture: "building healthy communities"
